The group exhibition "Butterfly Effect", which is held between March 21 and March 25, 2024 to support the regions affected by the earthquake disaster that took place on February 6, 2023 through art, meets its visitors at Ortaköy Kethüda Hamam.
The exhibition brings together works donated by artists from Turkey to contribute to the Exemplary Houses Project, Hatay. The event is organized under the leadership of Zülal Çakıcı, Hamide Göksan and their teammates, with the contributions of Tarık Hotamışlıgil, Haldun Dostoğlu and the Art for Goodness Association. The Sample Houses Living Village in Antakya/Hatay, with 100 tiny houses located on 66 acres of land, has filled a completely empty land with hundreds of people, homes, trees and hope. In the "Butterfly Effect" exhibition, organized to provide a solution to the needs in this region through art and to bring the project to a larger audience, the works of artists from many different cities of Turkey will be exhibited and the sales will support the earthquake region. The proceeds from the sale of the artworks will be used to contribute to the Exemplary Houses Project.
